2013 ELKMONT INVITATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY MEET RESULTS

What a great day for the 2013 Elkmont Invitational hosted by the Red Devil Cross Country team!  The invitational was held on Thursday, August 29, the first day teams are allowed to compete for the 2013 season per AHSAA.  

Including Elkmont, there were athletes from eight schools competing on the course during the various races.  Both the JV and Varsity courses started downtown, just behind the Elkmont Depot and headed up the hill on Church St and proceed to circle the block on top of the hill (Morris-Cedar-Gilbert-Children) before coming back down and heading south on the trail to the turnaround point.  The JV runners ran a 2 mile race and the Varsity runners ran a 3.1 mile (or 5K) race.
