Health Care Subsidy - Vote Passed (235-191, 6 Not Voting) Returning last week from the August recess, the House passed a bill that would block premium and cost-sharing subsidies under the 2010 health care reform law until a program to verify household income and other qualifications for the subsidies is certified as operational. Only five Democrats joined the entire Republican caucus to vote in favor of the legislation sponsored by Tennessee Republican Diane Black.
