Patricia Ann Goar, 71 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Born Monday, May 3, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of Hattie McCafferty. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a biscuit cook at Hardees of Ardmore. She loved flowers and gardening, her pets and reading. She especially loved her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband: Estes Goar, and son Wayne Goar.
Surviving are son, Ronnie Goar of Arab, AL, daughters, Rhonda Porterfield of Hazel Green, AL, Linda Lewter of Elkmont, AL and Amanda Goar of Huntsville, AL, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Marshall Norman and Bro. Doug Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
