Barbara Ann Self, age 55 of Elkmont, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Self was born October 20, 1958 in Tuscaloosa County to Miles Jerome Carter Sr. and Mary Jo McWilliams Carter.
Private memorial service will be announced at a later day. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Self; daughters, Nicolette Payne and husband Jeffrey and Lindsay Colbert and husband Dustin; step-daughter, Amanda McMunn; step-son, Nathan Self and wife Sabrina; brother, Bob Carter and wife Marsha; sister, Collins Ledgewood and husband Alan; mother, Mary McWilliams Carter; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Miles Jerome Carter Sr.
