The election for our District 5 state senator is today. If you are in the Elkmont boundaries, you will be voting at the Fire Station in the middle of town. Polls will be open from 7am - 7 pm. You will need to bring ID or make sure the poll ladies can vouch for you. Turnout is projected to be about low. This means your vote will carry extra weight. If 600 votes are from Elkmont, it could easily decide the winner.
