THINKING ABOUT HAVING A GARDEN THIS YEAR?

Hill Spirit's Christmas wish for a big snow may still happen later next week about Feb 25th but it didn't happen in December or January so my wish is now for Spring instead. Planting my salad garden today.

It is warm and beautiful today.  You see the daffodils coming up and you just know that spring is around the corner.  You have been wanting to put out a garden. However, some of us here in Elkmont feel like we are clueless, born with a brown thumb.  The Alabama extension office has just what you need, The Alabama Vegetable Gardener-Planning for the Home Garden.  You can go to the extension office and pick one up but you can print it or read it online.
