Patricia Jane “Pat” Wilson, age 78 of Athens, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Wilson was born April 12, 1938 in Limestone County, AL to Jim Henry Wilson and Nina Bentley Wilson.
Services will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 4:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Terry Lamar and John Norman officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Nina Wilson; brothers, James (Doon) Wilson, J.C. (Dick) Wilson and Billy Gene Wilson.
Survived by five sisters, Jimmie McMahan of Lakeland, FL, Dale Nave, Charlotte Pack and husband, Anthony and Sandra Johnson all of Athens, Linda Adams and husband, Larry of Campbellsville, TN; four brothers, H.B. Wilson and wife, Carol, Marlin Wilson all of Athens, John Wilson and wife, Lynn of Elkmont and Charlie Wilson of Athens; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Her family cherished and loved her, and was blessed to have her for so many years. She was the glue that kept our family together. She was always loving and happy. To know her is to love her.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wilson, Randy Wilson, Jim Wilson, Tony Pack, Randall Simpson and Mike McMahan.
