West Morgan was as good as advertised, handing Elkmont its first loss of the season by a final score of 7-1. The battle was fought in front of a rowdy crowd that had traveled to East Limestone due to dark, soggy fields at Ardmore City Park.
While it is always more fun to win, there was a lot to be proud of as the Red Devils dug deep, hustled for all eighty minutes , and played with tremendous class and sportsmanship - fully demonstrating Pride, Purpose, and Persistence.
After Spring Break, the Red Devils return to action on March 20 in the county tournament at Clements at 7:00 pm.
