BRENDA LORAINE KENNEMER - OBITUARY

Brenda Loraine Kennemer, age 69 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. Ms. Kennemer was born May 1, 1948 in Limestone County to Elijah Amerson and Mary Ruth Carr Amerson. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Forrest Amerson, Robert Amerson, Edgar Amerson two sisters Emma Jean Smith and Virginia Lauderdale. 

Survivors include: two daughters, Teresa Breedwell of Athens; Leigh Kennemer Casillas and husband Junior of Athens; four brothers, George Amerson of Elkmont; Hubert Lee Amerson and wife Sherry of Elkmont; Tommy Amerson and wife Debbie of Athens; Rickey Amerson of Athens; four sisters, Lucille Blackwell of Athens, Tera Hamby of Fayetteville, TN; Mary Webb of Athens, AL; Patricia Reece of Athens; five grandchildren, Kristi Whitlock and husband Cody of Muscle Shoals, AL; Chad Breedwell and wife Jordan of Athens, AL; Amanda Breedwell of Athens, AL; Kasie Suttles of Huntsville, AL; Sarah Suttles of Athens, AL; three step grandchildren, Carleigh Casillas of Athens, AL; Andrew Casillas of Athens, AL; and Joseph Gray of Marietta, GA; one great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Whitlock of Muscle Shoals, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

*The Funeral Service will be Sunday June 4, 2017; at 2 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jovan Turner officiating.
 
*Visitation will be Sunday June 4, 2017; from 12-1:45 at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Chad Breedwell, Cody Whitlock, Shawn Amerson, Travis Amerson, Todd Eff, and Junior Casillas.
