We are so proud of Chance! He was awarded a Cross Country scholarship to Martin Methodist College for four years!! He was officially the first male to sign in XC ever at Martin. We are looking forward to this next step in his athletic career!!
Chance Bailey is the son of Kevin and Missy Bailey. He was a member of the Basketball, Cross Country, and Indoor & Outdoor Track teams. Selected for two years as a member of the Decatur Daily All Area Cross Country Team, the All Section Team, and All-State Cross Country Team. Chance ran at the Disney ESPN Cross Country Classic in Orlando, Florida. He finished in the top ten in his division. Chance has qualified to run in every State Cross Country and Track meet since seventh grade.

*Named to the 2017 All County Basketball Season Team
*Member of the Elkmont High School Senior Beta Club
*Senior Class Favorite and was chosen by the Senior Class as “Best All Around.”
*Member or the Holland’s Gin Church of Christ.

Proud of this young man! Signed a four year Cross Country scholarship with Martin Methodist College today! His hard work has paid off! I remember well his first day of practice in the seventh grade. Struggled a little but I knew he was going to be good if he kept it up. Now look at him! Congratulations Chance Bailey! You deserve it!
