Chelsee Dyan Nash of Athens and Cole Timothy Thornton of Pembroke Pines, Fla., were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony Sept. 10 at Pelican Beach Resort with Ashley Pogue officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tracy Goode of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Goode of Athens and the late Jerry Goode.
The groom is the son of Tim and Nancy Thornton of Athens. He is the grandson of Bessie Pepper of Athens and Joyce Thornton of Elkmont and the late Douglas Pepper and Clayton Thornton.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother Tracy Goode.
Matron of honor was Whitney Nash Looney, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Whitney Nicole Craig, Brooke Parker Parsons and Brook Davidson White.
Brandon Norwood served as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Spry, John Robertson and Cody Eldridge.
The ringbearer was Camden Gage Hulsey. Music was provided by Brad Goode.
A reception followed the ceremony at The Pelican Beach Resort Conference Center.
The couple resides in Pembroke Pines.
