HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS - NOVEMBER 1 - 4

FRIDAY:

  • Advanced tickets on sale for tonights game at Hanceville. They are $7.00 each.
    The gates will open at 5:00. Please come out and support our team as they begin our run in the state playoffs.

  • Congratulations to our M/S girls for their Victory last night in the West Tip-off Tourn.
  •  
  • Track - Congratulations to the XC teams. Both Girls+Boys teams placed 3rd in the Section 3. They will compete in the state competition on Nov. 12 at Oakville Indian Mounds. Tyler Helms + Adam McMahan were named to the all Section team for placing 3rd and 4th overall.

  • Reminder - School closed nxt Tuesday for Parenting Day.
    Friday for Veterans Day.

THURSDAY:

  • M/S Girls  basketball game today has been changed to 4:45 today.

  • Students we have advanced tickets for the state playoff game tommorow night at Hanceville that will be on sale tomorrow morning. All tickets are $7.00 each.

WEDNESDAY:

  • Picture Make-Up day is Scheduled for Wed. Nov. 9

  • Congratulations to our M/S boys basketball team and Coach Sutton for their Victory last night VS. East Limestone.


TUESDAY:

  • Middle School Basketball begins tonight at West Limestone.  M/S Girls - 6:00   M/S Boys - 7:15

  • Congratulations to the band for their fine showing at the Phil Cambell Bobcat Marching Festival, this past Saturday.

  • The band recieved Superior ratings in all captions, Band, Drumline, Color Guard, and Drum Major (Austin Sharp) this earned the band the Regina King Memorial Award.

  • In addition the band earned Best in Class Awards for Band, Drumline, Color Guard, Best Soloist (Harley Jackson on trumpet) and Highest G.E or general effect.

  • The band also won the Class 2A Challenge Cup which represents the highest combined scores within the class. This is the third consecutive year that the band has earned this award, which means that the trophy for this award stays here now.  Again Congratulations and we are very proud of you!

  • Parenting Day is scheduled for next Tuesday. 
  • Parents,  please contact your child's teacher per email or phone to schedule a conference time.
