EDWARD WALLACE - OBITUARY


Edward Wallace passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at home.


Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  The funeral for Edward B. Wallace, 40, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McConnell Funeral Home with A. Ray Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Edward B. Wallace was born Feb. 6, 1971, in Athens to Edward E. and Christel Wallace. He was a 1989 graduate of
Elkmont High School. He worked for Repair Inc. in Madison and was an over-the-road truck driver for Schneider National, Talbot Elkins Ent., and, for the past five years, Big G Trucking in Shelbyville, Tenn.

Edward loved all little children and animals and they loved him. He was a beloved uncle to his nephews, Austin and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward E. Wallace; and niece, Madison Tucker.

Survivors include his mother, Christel Wallace; stepfather, Lawrence Wilson; fiancée Patricia Smith; and stepsons, Charles and Jacob Smith; sister, K. Michelle Tucker; nephews, Austin and Jacob Tucker, all of Athens; several aunts, uncles and cousins of Athens, and Madison and Morgan counties.

Pallbearers will be cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
