CHARLES EUGENE McGEE - OBITUARY

Charles Eugene McGee, 79 of Elkmont died Wednesday at his residence. Services will be 10AM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home with Donnie Browning, Lisa Peterson, Preston Pylant officiating, burial will be in Leggtown Cemetery with Military Honors, visitation is from 5-8PM Friday at Spry’s.

Mr. McGee was born April 6, 1935 in Pickens County Alabama, he was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, an Eagle Scout, a Graduate of Auburn University & Southern Mississippi University, he was a Electrical Engineer for 25 years for General Electric, he taught College Level Math & Computer Science at Athens State, Martin Methodist, Calhoun College, Giles County High School, he was a Spirited member of the Limestone County Archives, and a Active Genealogist & Author.

Daughter: Gayle Starkey, Elkmont

Granddaughter: 
Lisa Peterson and husband Cody, Avon SD

Great Grandson: Charles Joshua Peterson

Brother: Don McGee and wife Belva, Killen

Sister: 
Sally Browning and husband Donnie, Fayetteville

Several Nieces & Nephews.
