Leah's softball teammates got together to make a "Loving Leah" team and along with participated in the "St. Jude Give Thanks Walk" at the Madison Square Mall this morning. There were 506 people who came to be in the walk. This was a 5k event to raise money for St. Jude. The fundraiser netted over $98,000 to help this wonderful hospital. Team Leah wore shirts that said, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." A big thank you to everyone who came out to support Leah and St. Jude!
Elkmont High School held a penny drive earlier this fall to raise money for St. Jude as well.
