Elkmont has sent another one of her finest to the serve our country. Manuel "Manny" Sanchez, son of Manuel and Teresa Sanchez, and is serving in the Navy. After graduating with the Elkmont class of 2014, he reported to basic training in October. He graduated December 5th, 2014 from Great Lakes, Illinois. He will be stationed in Norfolk, Virginia on the USS Bataan (LHD-5). He is coming out as an Undesignated Seaman and will be in specialized training before being assigned to his job.
