Services for Mrs. Adams are Monday, December 22, 2014 at First Church at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bruce Johnson and Dr. Rick Craft officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She was a member of First Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Adams; son, Bobby Adams; grandson, Shawn Blade; brother, James Crawford; sister, Kathryn Crawford Swisher.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry W. Adams and wife Susan, Michael Adams, Timothy Adams and Jonathan Adams and wife Lisa; daughters, Geraldine Yarnall and husband Skip and Shirley Guthrie and husband Lavern; daughter-in-law, Joyce Adams; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; aunt, Irma Young.
Pallbearers are Heath Guthrie, Spencer Guthrie, Brian Martin, Caleb Adams, Levi Adams, Eli Adams, Eric Adams and Chris Adams. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Adams and Justin Kennedy.
