CHANGES AT ELKMONT HIGH SCHOOL

During the  Limestone County Board of Education June meeting on Tuesday, the following actions that concern Elkmont were approved.

Big changes were retirements of Pat Gartman (assistant principal), Carolyn Thomas and the naming of the new varsity boys basketball coach, Dennis Black.  Another big change is Ethan Whiteside transferring to West Limestone, leaving the Elkmont Red Devils without an offensive coordinator.  Duane Wales will be only coaching Middle School football on the Hilltop this year.  A search is on for replacements for the high school football program.
