ELKMONT AND THE DECATUR DAILY ALL AREA SOFTBALL TEAM
- The Decatur Daily's All-Area
Softball Team was released today. The Elkmont Lady Devils made it deep
in the playoffs this year. Several of our players were selected in
recognition of their outstanding seasons that helped to make that
possible.

MIDDLE INFIELDER: Bailee Gooch, Elkmont, Senior
*The Red Devils’ leadoff hitter finished with a .318 batting average with eight RBIs.
THIRD BASE: Dakota McCurley, Elkmont, Junior
*Finished with a .361 batting average with 12 RBIs.
OUTFIELDER:
Bekah Inman, Elkmont, Junior
*Led Elkmont with a .378 batting average with
32 RBIs; helping the Red Devils reach the Class 4A North Regional.
Honorable mention
CATCHER: Brandi Bentley, Junior
