WALTER DEAN McGLOCKIN - OBITUARY

Walter Dean McGlocklin age 72 of Athens, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. Mr. McGlocklin was born May 23, 1943 in Limestone County, AL to Harley McGlocklin and Mable Puryear McGlocklin. 
Mr. McGlocklin was a member of Tanner Church of Christ. He was retired from Athens Utilities and was Commissioner for District 3 for 8 years.
 
Services will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Tanner Church of Christ with Robert Hall and Don Osborne officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tanner Methodist Church Cemetery.
