WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER THIS WEEKEND?

Channel 48:
Winds will pick up to around 10 mph out of the west/northwest this afternoon driving colder air into the Valley. We'll start Saturday with lows in the low/mid 20s and wind chills as low as the single digits in some spots. We'll see plenty of sunshine Saturday, but it will be cold and breezy. Highs should stay in the mid 30s with a north wind at 10-15 mph. We face another bitter night with lows in the lower 20s into Sunday.

It is starting to look like we will miss the winter storm Monday.  Storms do what they want  and it could move more to the South and then snowflakes will fly.
However, as of now, mostly heavy rain on Monday and then perhaps two weeks of warm early Spring weather. February 25- March 15 may be the last blast of winter.  Be of good cheer, we do live in Alabama and so even if it is colder than normal, it is still on the warmer side.
