The Elkmont Elkmentary Scholar Bowl team was hard at work over the last six weeks. Members of this year's team was Cole Holt, Leah Daly, Lexie McNatt, Christopher Ussery, Bria Hernandez, Colby Schaar, Katelyn Parker, Grayson Pressnell, Evan Woodfin, and Molly Gilbert. The competition was hosted by Blue Spring Elementary, March 2. There were nine teams from Limestone county. The competition consisted of nine rounds of twenty questions. Each team had a bye round.
Unfortunately, Elkmont did not win any of their rounds, but our team had a great learning experience and all of the kids enjoyed themselves.
The team's Coach Ms. Candi Holt is very proud of the team and encouraged everyone to tryout again next year.
