Mrs. Cox was born December 12, 1935 in Limestone County. She was a member of the Baptist church and she was retired from Wal-Mart.
Survivors: Daughter: Emily Kaye Helm of Athens; Step-Daughter: Marcia Lynn Cox of Bessemer, AL; Granddaughters: Alysha Walker (Douglas Hardy) of Elkmont and Amaris Walker Harvell (Gray) of Odenville, AL; Six Great Grandchildren: Jake, Tori, Dylan, Gracelynn, Aleah and Eli; Sisters: Betty Ann Parker of Athens and Elizabeth Cobb of Mobile, AL.
Visitation is from 6-9PM Friday at Spry Funeral Home. Services will be 11 AM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Terry officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Hardy, Jake Hardy, Wade Miller, Oscar Martinez, Eric Eckstein and Gray Harvell.
