There are many of us in Elkmont who are interested in learning how to be able to take care of ourselves and save money. This Saturday you will have an opportunity to stop by the Everyday and Emergency Preparedness Seminar in Athens. It is being held at 1716 W Market St, Athens in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building.
This isn't a class format event but stations are available in areas you might be interested to learn more about. Drop by and see what is available and ask all the questions you want in any of the listed areas above. For example, how to purify your water might be on on your mind with the water restrictions in Morgan and Lawrence Counties to our south.
There will be refreshments and displays on being prepared, cooking, food storage and gardening.
