JANIS CAROL ROYSTER - OBITUARY

Janis Carol Royster, age 68, of Athens, passed away on Monday June 6, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Ms. Royster was born on September 12, 1947 in Athens, Alabama. She was a lifelong resident of Athens.

She is survived by her Mother, Corene Tribble of Athens; one daughter, Sonya Berzett and husband John of Athens; four brothers, Don York and wife Kathryn of Athens, Steven Tribble and wife Trenna of Athens, Dudley Tribble of Athens, and Barry Tribble and wife Shanna of Elkmont; two sisters, Lynda Buchanan and husband Wright of Fort Morgan, AL, and Dimple Newell and husband Harold of Killen, AL, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Royster will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 3:00PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Greg Corble officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2:45. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don York, Steven Tribble, Dudley Tribble, Barry Tribble, Wright Buchanan, and Harold Newell. Honorary pallbearers will be 1965 graduating class of West Limestone High School.

Ms. Royster attended Clements Baptist Church. She was a member of the Athens Limestone Association of Realtors, and retired from Federal Mogul in Athens after 36 years.
