Our cross country team is at Disney this week. Last Friday, the ESPN Disney XC Classic brought runners in from all over the country. It was a great race on a tough course!! Congrats to Chance Bailey on his 9th place overall finish!COACH PUGH'S CORNER:
Standing here on the balcony in Orlando where we are at what the sign calls "The happiest place on Earth". Kids are everywhere throwing footballs, playing soccer, sitting and laughing at tables and athletes enjoying good clean fun and friendships. It really is times like this that I am thankful my life's work involves being surrounded by kids. It is easy to get down, but the sound of this and the joy in their faces is priceless! Looking forward to more days and nights like this!
I have group of dedicated kids (and parents) who will do an impromptu 3.5 miler around the parking lot at midnight after a day at the parks! Running at midnight at Disney was a first tonight!
