DECATUR DAILY'S TAKE ON THIS SATURDAY'S ELKMONT EVENT

The Decatur Daily had a great article yesterday about the Southern ReInvention event this Saturday in Elkmont.  If you want to read the entire article, click on link.

Southern ReInvention: A celebration of innovators and out-of-the-box thinkers

A celebration of  love for the South and the artisans innovating the region will take place at the third annual Southern ReInvention on Saturday. If the two past events serve as any indication, more than 1,000 people across the Tennessee Valley will converge on Elkmont’s Belle Chevre from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Tasis Malakasis, owner of the internationally known Belle Chevre, billed the event as a southern take on food, fashion and music.

Featured artisans include Pizzelle’s Confections of Huntsville, Piper and Leaf tea company of Huntsville, Bare Naked Noodles of Birmingham and Marc Nelson Denim of Nashville. Huntsville’s folk group The Wolves of Chernobyl and The Swampers, of FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, will perform.
