WEATHER ALERT - FROST IS IN THE AIR

..FROST POSSIBLE SATURDAY...SUNDAY AND MONDAY MORNINGS...


A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO THE TENNESSEE
VALLEY REGION THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND WITH MUCH COLDER AIR EXPECTED. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL INTO THE MID 30S FOR A BRIEF TIME PERIOD TONIGHT...WITH SOME PATCHY FROST EXPECTED. FROST IS EXPECTED TO BE MORE WIDESPREAD ON SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO BE IN THE MID 30S FOR A LONGER DURATION. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE MID 30S FOR MOST OF THE AREA BY SUNDAY MORNING.




TEMPERATURES ARE AGAIN EXPECTED TO COOL TO THE MID 30S BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. MANY AREAS MAY SEE FROST FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS FALL. PREPARATION MAY BE

NEEDED TO PROTECT SENSITIVE PLANTS
AND ITEMS DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS THIS WEEKEND AND ON MONDAY MORNING.
