GERALD "JERRY" ALBERT ADAMS - OBITUARY

Gerald “Jerry” Albert
Adams, 79, of Elkmont, passed away peacefully of pneumonia and surrounded by family on Dec. 3, 2015, at Madison Hospital.
Jerry was born July 21, 1936, to Albert A. Adams and Ella L. Adams in Binghamton, New York. He served four years in the United States Air Force and graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1976. Jerry provided for his family as a carpenter and ordained minister and was extremely talented at woodworking, beekeeping, fishing and flying. Jerry will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal friend, and a man of many great talents.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Janet “Sue” Adams; his sister Patricia Deiss; his sister Virginia Gilmore and her husband, Charles; his son, Dean Adams and his wife, Lisa, and their children, Aaron and Ashley; his son, Glen Adams and his wife, Marsha, and their children, Louisa and Christie; his daughter, Julie Fronckowiak and her husband, Tom, and their children, Tyler, Ashton, Hailey and Amelia; his son, Bryan Adams and his wife, Melissa, and their children, Ethan and Mia; his stepsons, Mathew and Kathryn Church and their children, and Michael Church; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Church of God at 1547 Capshaw Road, Madison.
