SINGING ANGEL FROM ELKMONT

We have so many talented young people in our community.  One of these is Chloe Davis, daughter of Michelle Davis and granddaughter of Beverly Lewis.  She is a fifth grader at Elkmont. As a member of the Elkmont United Methodist Church, she participates in its Children's Choir.

Earlier in the year, she auditioned for a spot on the Heritage Children's Chorale group.  Led by Mary Stephenson, the singing group is made of talented singers from Limestone and Giles counties. They have 3 Christmas concerts scheduled. The first was December 6th in Pulaski. The Heritage Choir were invited to perform with the Martin Methodist College Choir.  It was absolutely beautiful and Spirit of Christmas could be felt.
You can experience the beauty of the Heritage Children's Choir twice more.  The next concert will be held December 10 at 7 pm in the Pulaski Presbyterian Church.  The last Christmas concert will be the 14th at the Athens United First Methodist church (the big one in the middle of town).  The sound of music will ring at 7 pm that evening.   Music touches the soul in a way that nothing else can and it is a sure way to get into the Holiday spirit!!!

The Heritage Children's Chorale of the South is a professional children's chorus made up of young people ranging in age from eight to eighteen. In 1988, the Chorale was born with it's first class of thirty-five auditioned singers.
