Barry Dale Usery, age 62 of Elkmont, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Usery was born August 6, 1954 in Limestone County, AL to Ernest Usery and Lacy McCowan Usery. Mr. Usery was a United States Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lacy Usery; one brother, Joe Usery.
Services will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Chuck Hood officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bottoms Cemetery.
Mr. Usery was a United States Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lacy Usery; one brother, Joe Usery.
Survived by one son, Barry Dale Usery II and wife, Bridgett; three grandchildren, Haley Jean Usery, Hannah LeAnn Usery and Barry Dale Usery III; four brothers, Curtis Usery and wife, Linda, Roy Usery and wife Elizabeth, Glyn Usery and wife Charlene; Lynn Usery; one sister, Alice Usery; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be brothers and nephews.
