Deborah “Debbie” Hodges Brown, age 60 of Athens, passed away Sunday, May
7, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Brown was born October 15, 1956 in
Limestone County, AL to Will David Hodges and Martha Nell Clem Hodges.
Services
will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral
Home with Doug Colwell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9,
2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Butler Cemetery in Lauderdale County.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Church of the Living God, and was retired from Brownsferry Nuclear Plant.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Brown; sister-in-law, Margaret Hodges and brother-in-law, Jackie Butler.
Survived
by one son, Larry Brandon Jackson of Athens; two grandchildren, Skyler
Jackson and Jacob Kelly both of Athens; one brother, Jimmy Hodges of
Athens; two sisters, Charlotte Hodges Butler of Athens and Patricia
Hodges McNeal and husband, Lonnie of Elkmont; two nieces; two nephews;
three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Pallbearers will be Will Hodges, Chris McNeal, Josh Dalberto, Fred Clem, Corwin Clem and Randy Clem.
