Mary Cooley of Tanner announces the engagement of her granddaughter, Haley Breann Chambers, to Eric Lee Wallace of Elkmont, son of Ricky Wallace of Athens and the late Freda Wallace.The bride-elect is the daughter of Earl and Kim Chambers of Athens and also the granddaughter of Ruth Chambers of Elkmont and the late Lifford Cooley and Lakeon Chambers.
She is a 2008 graduate of Tanner High School and is currently attending UAHuntsville where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication arts.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James and Vera Lewter and Elmer and Bobbie Wallace.
He is a 2007 graduate of Elkmont High School.
He is employed by Decatur Transit.
The wedding is planned for May 19 at Yesterdays Event Center in Athens.
