HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS....MAY 14 - 18

WEDNESDAY:

• Picture Money due Friday, May 18.. 
• There will be a Poetry Tech Club meeting Thursday after school. Plase bring your t-shirt money.
• Varsity Girls basketball tryouts will be next Monday-Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 in the new gym. Any girl in grades 8-11 interested in playing needs to see Coach Bates today.
• This year's summer school will be held at the Ombudsman center in Athens from June 1-June 29, and the cost is $300. Students will be allowed to take up to two courses cia Credit Recovery. There will be no advanced classes offered at LCS Summer School 2012. There will be two sessions; the first session will be from 8am-11am, and the second session will be from 11am-2pm. Students will attend at least three hours per day, and there are only 25 available seats for each session. Any student who needs to go to summer school is asked to come to the counseling department at his/her first available opportunity in order to pick up an application packet. Only cash or money orders will be accepted...NO PERSONAL CHECKS. STUDENTS MUST PAY THE FULL FEE AT THE TIME THEY REGISTER. ONCE ALL SEATS ARE FILLED, NO NEW STUDENTS WILL BE ADDED TO THE ROSTER. REGISTRATION WILL CONTINUE AT THE LOCAL SCHOOL UNTIL MAY 25, 2012.
• Students in grades 9-11 who would like to apply for the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program should come by the counseling department today or tomorrow and pick up an application packet. The cost is $45, and all students should pick up their packet no than tomorrow.

TUESDAY:

• Varsity girls basketball parent meeting will be tonight at 5:30. At least one parent from each student must attend.
• Volleyball parent meeting tonight at 6:00 in the lunchroom. Every student must have a parent in attendance.
• Friday night at 8pm will be the EHS Spring Football game @ CLEMENTS
• This coming Friday, May 18, McErehen Photography will be here to meet with Juniors requiring Senior portraits at 9:00.

MONDAY:

• Quarterback Meeting @ 6 pm.

• Boxtop Winners: Austin Ridgeway, Abby Foster, and Gracie McMahan.
• Volleyball parent meeting at 6pm Tuesday. Student and parent must attend this meeting.
• Picture orders and money need to be turned in tomorrow instead of Friday, due to a deadline from picture company.
• Yearbooks can be picked up today during lunch in the Lobby. Books for grades K-6 will be delivered this morning.
• The Rodeo Queen will be in the New Gym at 9:00 this morning for grades K-6.
• Senior Graduation practice will be Wednesday at 10:00 in the New Gym.
• All award information is due in Mr. Davis' Office by the end of the school day on Thursday, May 17.
