The
Clements Colts will be coming to the hilltop this evening. The Red
Devils took it on the chin last week but will turn it around.
Controlling the football and keeping turnovers down will help Elkmont
have a much better game. The weather is going to be beautiful with
temps in the middle 60s for a 7 pm kickoff. The Hill Spirit thinks the
Red Devils will add another win to their season tonight. Go Big
Red!!!

Predictions:
Athens New Courier
Preview:
Both teams enter this fixture limping after blowout losses a week ago.
Elkmont’s 56-13 loss was just another stop on the Madison Academy
victory tour. The Red Devils became just the second team to score more
than one touchdown against the defending 3A champs.
In a game Clements had a real chance to win, the Colts fell flat, losing 41-12 on homecoming to Westminster. Elkmont beat that same Westminster squad by double digits earlier this season.
Last year: Elkmont won 24-8.
Series history: Clements leads 26-23.
News Courier Prediction: Elkmont 31, Clements 13

Decatur Daily:
The skinny: This is a battle of Limestone County rivals. The Clements Colts are rebuilding under Dan Beavers. The Colts are coming off a 41-12 loss to Westminster. Coach Sean Holt’s Red Devils are coming off a 56-17 loss to Madison Academy. Elkmont is tied for third in the region with Deshler and Lauderdale County. Both those schools are next on Elkmont’s schedule. Clements holds a 26-23 lead in the series.
