A CHANCE OF SNOW?

LIMESTONE:...SNOWFALL EXPECTED ACROSS THE CENTRAL TENNESSEE VALLEY TODAY...


AN APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD LIGHT PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING...WHICH WILL PRIMARILY TAKE THE FORM OF LIGHT SNOW AS TEMPERATURES REMAIN NEAR OR SLIGHTLY BELOW FREEZING. 


THE THREAT FOR SNOW WILL INITIALLY BEGIN ACROSS NORTHWEST ALABAMA BETWEEN 8-9 AM AND WILL LIKELY DIMINISH ACROSS NORTHEAST ALABAMA BETWEEN 3-4 PM. ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE ... WITH AMOUNTS RANGING FROM AROUND A TRACE IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA TO BETWEEN A QUARTER AND ONE HALF OF AN INCH ELSEWHERE. A FEW LOCATIONS IN THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE REGION MAY RECEIVE CLOSE TO ONE INCH.
