KALYNN'S GREAT ADVENTURE - THE GALA

Part of the Miss Rodeo USA (MRUSA) pageant is The Gold Buckle Gala, one of several social events held in association with IFR43.  This dinner not only functions as a fundraiser for the MRUSA program, but also as a welcome party for IFR43 contestants, personnel, sponsors and fans.

Miss Rodeo USA State Showcase event at the Oklahoma Rodeo Opry. The contestants modeled the state shirt outfit they designed, changed and modeled another outfit while presenting their own prepared speech and fielding impromptu questions. Kalynn Clinard has truly been our ambassador throughout this process.

During the Gala the ladies modeled formal western attire while taking part in the evening program. One of the main events is an auction with the proceeds going toward the MRUSA Program. Kalynn auctioned a steer head decoration she designed and hand painted that drew one of the highest contributions of the night.

Seventeen contestants from all over the Country and nine of them have competed in the Miss Limestone Rodeo Pageant. Thanks to ladies like Kalynn, we are having an impact on the sport of rodeo and serving as a positive exposure to the competitiveness of professional pageantry.
