COULD IT HAPPEN?

Looking at maps and reading about possible weather for January.  The models were too early in December with the cold weather but there is a chance they will be right for January 8.  If so, BRRR!!!!! One is saying it will be 25 degrees or more below normal on that date, average high is 50, low 31.  Accuweather has it at 48 on that date, but Weather.com has it at 39.  However, if the map below is right, temperatures will be much lower on that date.  It would be wise to prepare for that cold now and hope that those warmer temperatures are what really happens.
