Mr. George Robert (Bob) Putman, 76 of Athens, AL passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 31, 2012, 2 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Hawkins & Anthony Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6-9 PM @ Funeral Home. Burial in the Athens Memory Gardens.
Born November 5, 1935 in Limestone Co. AL to Leroy & Anna Bell Putman. Member of the First Union Baptist Church and Retired from Athens Limestone Hospital.
Preceded in death by wife: Corean Putman, & son: Benjie Putman.
