ST. JUDE REPRESENTATIVE - RHETT BAILEY

Rhett Bailey, sophomore at Elkmont High School, and a cancer patient who is in remission from Diffuse Large B Cell Lymp
homa, was recently honored by St. Jude by being asked to go and tell his “story” to former NFL players and Hall of Fame members at the Warren Moon Hall of Fame Invitational Golf Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a representative of St. Jude, Rhett along with Hall of Fame quarterback, Warren Moon, was asked to speak at several local TV and radio stations in order to raise awareness for funding of the important programs and research that takes place at St. Jude Children’s Hospital inMemphis,Tennessee.

Rhett has been a patient at St. Jude since April 2011, and he lived inMemphis,Tennessee, at the hospital from April 2011 until August 2011. Without the care and support of the programs at St. Jude, Rhett and other children who suffer from various forms of childhood cancer might not receive the newest forms in treatment and care as they do. Rhett was honored to be asked to be a part of this wonderful opportunity to raise awareness for St. Jude and the wonderful activities they do for their patients and patients’ family members.
