Cole Glass and Daniel Logan were selected to the All County Varsity Men's Tournament Team last night. Shelby Rouse was Elkmont's representative on the All County Varsity Ladies Tournament Team.
Daniel Logan had 43 points; 17 rebounds; 6 of 6 three pointers; 8 of 10 field goals; and went 9 for 11 from the free throw line during the tournament. Cole Glass had 24 points; 15 rebounds; 10 of 15 field goals.
Each year a spirit award is given out by the Limestone County School District that recognizes athletic and academic achievement. Each school has one young man and woman selected to represent the school. Skyler Gant and Megan Sutton were the Elkmont representatives for the Spirit award. Skyler Gant was chosen as the 2012 Limestone County Men's Top Spirit Award recipient.
