Nodie Bell Jonies, 89 of Athens died Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1924 in Madison County, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Jonies was retired from Martin Industries.

Services will be Sunday at 1 PM January 26, 2014 at Spry Funeral Home, Chapel burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday, January 25, 2014, 6-8PM at Spry Funeral Home.

Daughters - Frances Vincent of Athens, Martha Taylor and husband Roy of Elkmont, Linda Kesler of Athens, Shelia Gunter and husband Barry of Elkmont

Sons - R.L. Joines of Elkmont, Larry Jonies and wife Margaret of Athens, Stanley Joines and wife Sherry of Elkmont, Jerry Joines and wife Demetria of Athens, Donnie Joines and wife Charoltte of Prospect, TN;

Special Friend - Faye Lauderdale of Athens; 15 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
