This race was rescheduled from August 30 to September 6.
State RR will be on September 6th in the town of Elkmont, AL. Race will take place rain, or shine, but refunds will be granted if the race is cancelled for any reason.
We will have the USA sanctioned cycling state championship road race that will start and finish in Elkmont. It will be a 16 mile loop up Veto Road, Robinson, Pettusville, Shipley Hollow, Upper Elkton, and Fort Hampton Roads . Depending on race categories, it will be either 1,2, or 3 laps

This is the first time one of these road races has been held in Limestone County. It was selected in part for its scenic landscaping , hills
and valleys, but also for the way the local Tuesday and Thursday group bike
rides have grown and now are well known statewide. We are looking forward to
this race as it comes to Limestone County.
