Retired from Delphi/General Motors. He was a avid hunter, fisherman, and arrowhead collector.
Mr. McCrary was a member of 1st Baptist Church, Tanner. Services will be 5 PM Monday at 1st Baptist Church, Tanner, with Dr. Gary Enfinger, Clark Theriot, and Keith Tuberville officiating, burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 3 PM until service at the church.
Survivors include, Wife, Judy Lewis McCrary-Athens. Son, Daniel McCrary-Athens. Daughter, Lee McCary (David) Ledford-Athens. Step Daughters, DeWanna Hines-Athens, and Tracy Cooley-Athens. Brothers, Jimmy (Rat) McCrary-Athens, Paul (Vicky) McCrary-Athens, Wayne (June) McCrary-Athens. Sister-In-Law-, Gwendolyn McCrary Stone-Elkmont. Grandchildren ,Danielle Ledford, Jonathan (Carmon) McCrary, Brittany McCrary, Ryan Ledford, Marti Elizabeth McCrary, and Chorae Ledford. Step Grandchildren, Ashley Hines, Sefton Hines, Sydney Houston, Taryn Hall. Great Grandchildren, Karlie McCrary, Kaison Ledford, Austin McCrary, Jayden Jackson, Kylan Jackson. Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by, Parents, James & Burma McCrary. Brother, Johnny McCrary, Sister, Brenda Sue McCrary.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan McCrary, Ryan Ledford, Sefton Hines, Randall McCrary, Justin McCrary, and Paul McCrary.
