Aaron Hargrove, 80 of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Born Monday, August 27, 1934 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late Haas Hargrove and the late Bertha Turner Hargrove. He lived most of life in the North Alabama Area. He loved his grandchildren, family, all animals, and Dog Day.
He is survivied by 3 sons, Glen Hargrove of Athens, AL, Douglass Hargrove of Ardmore, TN and Chris Hargrove of Ardmore, TN, brothers, Robert Hargrove of Elkmont, AL, John Hargrove of Toney, AL and James Hargrove of Athens, AL, sister, Vemer Dison of Athens, AL, ten grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife,Dorothy Wray Hargrove, son, Michael Hargrove, brothers, Howard Hargrove and Virgil Hargrove, sisters, Betty Ray and Judy Wilson.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Edward "Buddy" Payne officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Springs Cemetery, Athens, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, 27186 Main Street, Ardmore, Alabama.
