Services will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Anthony Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Haney was of the Methodist faith and was a Mason. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and played minor league baseball in 1953-1954 for the Giants organization. He was employed with South Central Bell for 35 years.
Survived by three daughters, Pam Haney, Margaret Smith and husband, Jerry both of Athens and Carol Hogan and husband, Danny of Elkmont; two sons, Clayton Haney III and wife, Pam and Mike Haney and wife, Vickie both of Elkmont; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Boyd Haney Evans, Clayton Evans, Michael Haney, Matthew White, K.B. Montgomery and Cameron Crownover.
