SNOW? IS THERE ANY HOPE?

So far, we have had cold; we have had the storms but no snow.  Yes, we have all the things you need for some winter stuff but not at the same time.  It has been colder than average but that cold needs to be in place before the gulf moisture moves in.  Our weather has been the opposite, rain and then after the storm leaves the cold moves in.  A few flakes, a little ice but nothing to write home about.

Hill Spirit has been reading posts from weatherbell.com and looking at some interesting maps that indicate that we are going to warm up this week and then the cold moves back in next weekend.  There is a chance of a good old southern snow as a storm comes out of the gulf around February 20.

Will it happen? To snow or not to snow is indeed the question but enjoy this week. Cold is coming.  How does Hill Spirit know this?  Elkmont baseball season starts February 16.  With baseball, cold normally seems to follow.  Don't look for a early spring; March looks cooler than average as well.

Green is 10-15 degrees below average.

FOUND THIS OUTSIDE TODAY... EVEN DURING THE WINTER, SUNSHINE CAN BE FOUND IN ELKMONT
