Mrs. Hargrove passed away Thursday Feb. 19, 2015, at Athens Rehabilitation and Senior Care. She was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Limestone County to Thomas Wallace and Barbara Siniard Wallace. She was a member of First Union Baptist Church. She graduated from Elkmont High School in 1952 and she worked at Athens Lingerie.
Mrs. Hargrove was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Hargrove Jr.; and two sisters, Geneva Wallace Whitt and Shelby Wallace Wales. Survivors include one son Randy Hargrove and wife Donna of Athens; one daughter, Linda Smith and husband Rickey of Athens; one sister, Connie Wallace Frank; and four grandchildren, Brandon Nelson, Troy Nelson, Chase Hargrove and Anna Hargrove.
