Gary Clay Gates 62, of Rogersville, AL died Monday, February 05, 2018 in Decatur, Alabama. Born Friday, August 26, 1955 in Flint, MI, he was the son of the late Gerald Clay Gates and Billie Jean Ursery. Gary moved here from MI in 1988. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, singing and music.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Gates, Rogersville, AL, daughter, Sally (Danny) Parish, Memphis, TN, sisters Karen Jean Lewis, Bunker Hill, TN, and Cheryl Gates, Elkmont, AL, grandson, Deacon Clay Parish, Memphis, TN, granddaughter, Nola June Parish, Memphis, TN, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
