Mrs. Lutie “Leura Mae” Gordon, age 91 of Athens, died Tuesday at her residence. Mrs. Gordon was born January 16, 1927 in Limestone County, she was a member of Northside Church of Christ, a member of V.F.W., Ladies Auxiliary, and a volunteer for meals on wheels. Preceded in death are her parents, Leuyl W. Hicks and Leon Christopher Hicks, 3 Brothers, 1 Sister, and husband W.D. Gordon
Services will be 2PM Friday, February 2, 2018 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bud White officiating, burial at Roselawn Cemetery, visitation is from 12 noon until service at Spry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Travis Berzett, Austin Berzett, Ethan Mullins, Trey Moore, Stuart Gatlin, Wes Bryan, Adam Mullins.
